Daughters of the Holy Cross

What are WE About!

The Daughters are a religious order for women in the Anglican Church.  Its members are dedicated to Jesus Christ and to living the fourfold rule of life:

  • prayer,

  • service,

  • study, and

  • evangelism.

The Daughters offer companionship, support, and opportunities to live your confirmation commitment.  The Rose Chapter has focused its service on assisting the community, St. Thomas’ children’s ministry, and prayer ministry.

Prayer Request

The Daughters of the Holy Cross are the front line of St. Thomas of Canterbury's prayer ministry, serving not only our parishioners but also those far beyond our parish.

The Daughters are called to a ministry of prayer, so all who need this ministry are invited to submit a request, whether you are a parishioner of St. Thomas of Canterbury or not. In their ministry, confidentiality is important; the Daughters keep all requests confidential and do not discuss them beyond what is needed to pray for you, so you can trust that your information is handled with the utmost discretion.

Normally, prayer requests are routed to the Daughters, who pray daily from the list and may send you a prayer in response. Our ministry staff (clergy and deaconess) receive updated copies of the prayer list monthly. If you need someone on our ministry staff to be aware of your request more immediately, please indicate that in your request or email them directly from this page.

Because our form receives many spam entries, we have implemented Google reCAPTCHA to verify that only real people submit these requests. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
